The Storage Asset Management team came together as part of Investment Real Estate Management. In 2010, Storage Asset Management, Inc. was formed, separating the third party self storage property management operations from the Brokerage and Construction divisions of Investment Real Estate, LLC. SAM's Management Team is passionate about self storage and has over 35 years of experience in the industry.
Jay Hoke, President, Managing Partner
In 2010, Jay Hoke and Alyssa Quill became partners and purchased the third party self storage management contracts from Investment Real Estate Management, forming Storage Asset Management. Jay initially joined Investment Real Estate in 2002 working in the brokerage division with duties entailing feasibility studies to selling self storage facilities. Jay also ran the Property Management Division for a number or years, and operated as the company's Executive Vice President. Previously, Jay worked as a portfolio manager for a firm in Atlanta, GA and as a District Manager for Devon Self Storage, based out of California. A graduate of Penn State University, University Park, PA, Jay earned his degree in Institutional Management/Business.

Alyssa D. Quill, Vice-President, Managing Partner
Alyssa joined Investment Real Estate Management in 2008 to oversee strategic and operational leadership of the self storage property management business. In 2010, she and Jay Hoke became partners and purchased the third party management contracts from Investment Real Estate Management, forming Storage Asset Management. Previously, Quill served as Vice President of Operations for Extra Space Storage, a storage REIT with over 650 facilities in the United States and oversaw operations of 90 stores in the southeast in GA, SC, AL and FL. Before her role in operations, she held positions in the revenue management and finance departments for Extra Space and Storage USA. Prior to her years at Extra Space, she worked in the insurance industry. Quill earned her B.S. degree in Actuarial Science from Penn State University, University Park, PA with additional coursework towards her MBA degree at the University of Memphis.

Kevin Bledsoe, District Manager
As a District Manager for Storage Asset Management, Kevin Bledsoe oversees the daily storage operations of an assigned number of properties within the Philadelphia, West Virginia and Maryland areas of the management portfolio. His responsibilities include the overall property performance of the sites.
Prior to employment with IREM and SAM, Kevin worked in the self storage industry as a District Manager with All Seasons Storage and Simply Self Storage. Prior employment includes advertising and marketing research for firms in Lancaster and York, PA. Kevin holds a B.S. degree in Business Marketing from Bloomsburg University

Joyce Caskey, Accounting Manager
Joyce processes and records the daily financial information for the growing number of storage facilities managed by Storage Asset Management. This includes daily cash receipts, accounts payable, month-end and year-end financial reports and sales tax reporting.
Joyce attended York College and has over 25 years of diverse experience in accounting with progressive responsibilities working as an associate accountant for over seventeen years for Honeywell, a senior accountant with HealthCentral and Dulaney Station, and an accounting manager for Oakworks.

Julie Lane Purcell, Director of Marketing
Purcell is responsible for direction of marketing and sales functions for the managed self storage facilities, including the development and execution of marketing plans, internet advertising, yellow page management, press releases, advertising, seminars, public relations, electronic and print mailing campaigns, and special event management. Purcell’s current projects include campaign management, such as the “Self Storage is Sexy” campaign, creative direction of national advertising for SAM and the management and re-design of the corporate and managed facility websites.
Previous experience includes marketing and sales for firms in Tucson, AZ and Harrisburg, PA. Julie has a B.A. degree in English Literature from Franciscan University, Steubenville, OH.
